Feature Service

We here at the News & Features Network know about good yarns and how to get your story published.

We will get your story or feature article newsworthy and press/print ready and circulated through QUICKFILE to over 200 metropolitan, regional and suburban newspapers and magazines across Australia.

And provide you with quality sound and vision, should you be interested in radio and television.

The News & Features Network meets your organisation’s demand to get your real story out to the stake-holders – stories and information relayed in a clear and lucid form that can’t be covered in a six paragraph media release.

Crisply written features with pix will give your audience a real chance and opportunity to take in your message.

We work closely with features editors and senior working journalists through our extensive network of media contacts to ensure we always supply topical, targeted information.

We can often promote your story to editors in advance, reinforcing your marketing and advertising campaigns while adding power, credibility and detail to your image.

Case Study

The peak body of Australia’s motoring organisations, the Australian Automobile Association, commissioned N&FN to write a series of features about two of its top projects.

These features were based on the AAA report: “How Safe Are Our Roads – Rating Australia’s National Highways For Risk” and an interview with AAA Director of Technical Services, James Hurnall, on vehicle safety. This followed the release of a new national road safety action plan.

For the first assignment – the road safety report undertaken by  the AAA Australian Road Assessment Programme (AusRap) – N&FN wrote one overall national feature for website use.

As well, N&FN wrote separate features with angles for each State and Territory. These were given a very good run through the QUICKFILE network by Rural Press and Australian Provincial Newspapers. The interview with James Hurnall was given similar treatment.

The AAA senior executive expressed its satisfaction at the level of support supplied by N&FN.
