My aim is to compile a database
of all known Bray Families in Australia,
however this project is still in its early days with NSW, Qld and WA BDM's
completed and Victoria to 1890. I am now returning to work on this database but
there still might be some slight delays in dealing with your enquiries. I most sincerely apologise for any errors or
omissions you may have found and have not yet been able to draw to my attention.
I welcome any corrections or additions you wish to send to me as my aim is to
have this as accurate and complete as possible.
For privacy reasons, details of
living people have been suppressed. Where date of death is not known a span of
100 years has been enforced.
PLEASE NOTE: Except for my own family lines, this data was mainly compiled from
indexes and lists such as State BDMs and Cemetery Transcripts. Information has
also been supplied by other researchers and has not been verified by me.
Therefore this information MUST be treated as a guide only and you should
verify all information found here.
The use of Before Event Dates. - I have inserted "Before " dates for
all events where actual dates are not yet known. This has been done purely to
act as a guide for me when researching and are not meant to imply actual dates.
I have used a minimum age of 20 for men and 18 for women for marriage and
assumed a marriage took place before the birth of the first child. Both
assumptions are very rubbery I know but please remember they are intended to
act as a guide to time scale only.
